Just as the first half was pestering out into a goalless affair, Krasnodar struck to temporarily edge themselves into the top four. 

Aleksey Ionov's strike had looked to set them on course for a third consecutive win, but five minutes from time they were pegged back from the penalty spot. 

Ionov had a golden opportunity in the closing stages to snatch the win back for the visitors when he broke the offside trap clean through, but couldn't beat the frame of keeper Aleksandr Belenov. 

Ufa remain 15th on 18 points, while Krasnodar stay fifth on 36 points.
