Draw in Samara gives Torpedo first point after comeback

Krylia Sovetov returned to their main stadium for the first time since impressive 5-2 win over Dynamo last May and hosted Torpedo, whose coach Aleksandr Borodyuk played in Samara last season as a player and started coaching career there as an assistant. His side got their second goal this season, but the first one scored by themselves, not getting by opponents’s own goal. David Karaev jumped with his leg and turn Artem Samsonov cross into a goal, the debut one for the striker in the league.

Krylia answered with their newcomer, as striker Vladislav Shitov, loaned from Spartak, equalize after spending five minutes on the pitch. Maksim Glushenkov got the assist and was the most active player with seven attempts, but his side could not turn the advantage into win, so they shared the points with returned Black-Whites.

Krylia Sovetov have four points in three games, while Torpedo earn the first RPL point in seven years.
