Nizhny Novgorod saw the highest scoring match already this season, as Pari NN and Rostov made seven goals in total, and the visitors got three points. It all started with the penalty, Dmitry Poloz gave the lead to Rostov. Just five minutes later the hosts were awarded with the shot, Nikolay Kalinsky also scored. Another set piece came lately, and last season free kick maestro Daniil Utkin scored directly into the far corner.

See-saw play continued after the break, when suddenly Artur Nigmatullin could not stop the ball after Poloz shot, and it came into the net. Kalinsky answered again, this time with an assist to Milson, striker from Angola left alone in the box and cut the lead with header. Two minutes passed, and Danil Glebov rush into the box, got the rebound and sent the ball past Nigmatullin. Nizhny came close again after another header, this time scored by Timur Suleymanov, but that was their final word.

Rostov tied with Zenit on 11 points, while Pari NN are 14th with two points.
