The Red-Whites climbed at the RPL top after beating Sochi at home arena. But the first half was struggling for the hosts, as they did not reach the target, while visitors from Sochi gained 56 percent of possession and made five shots in total. After the half-time the game was turned around, and Quincy Promes started his new show. He caught lucky turnover from Sergey Terekhov and sent the ball to the left corner.

Next old Samara connection showed itself, as Aleksandr Sobolev assisted Anton Zinkovskiy for his first ever Spartak goal. Previously in Krylia Sovetov it was Zinkovskiy, who provided Sobolev on goals. Finally the result was made after Promes came through Sochi defense and got the brace, his second this season. Promes stands firmly on the top of scorers race with six goals, as well as his team on the top of RPL standings.

Spartak are new leaders on 13 points, while Sochi drop to fifth with nine points.
