In the Cup midweek Krylia Sovetov ended Zenit unbeaten streak in all tournaments defeating last season champions 2-0 at home. Now Igor Osinkin’s youngsters faced Rostov, the only team remained without any defeats. The Yellow-Blues made the first strike very quickly. When Khoren Bayramyan scored the first goal, the game had been lasted for 45 seconds. But answer from Samara came also rapidly. Sergey Pinyaev after missing several weeks shot perfectly to the top corner and scored his first goal this season.
As Rostov is the best team in scoring set pieces, new chance came in the second half, they were awarded with penalty, after Glenn Bijl played a ball with his arm. Ivan Lomaev touched Dmitry Poloz shot, but it went through. Rostov capitalized penalty in each of last three games, and after scoring Poloz made top 5 of RPL scorers with six goals. Roman Evgenyev made the game tied again, but his goal was called off, as he pushed Aleksandr Silyanov before hitting the ball. Keeping the win Rostov remained the status of unbeaten team.
Rostov go second with 22 points, while Krylia are tenth on ten points.
