RPL Matchday 13
Dynamo Moscow 3-2 FC Orenburg
Saturday 15 October, VTB Arena, Moscow
Goals: Dynamo – Parshivlyuk (11), Grulev (64), Fernandez (81); Orenburg – Sychevoy (25, 52)
Man of the Match: Vladimir Sychevoy (Orenburg)
Dynamo came back home after month-break hosting Orenburg, who won one away match and lost five during this season. Fedor Smolov and Konstantin Tyukavin made a duo of strikers, but the hosts captured the lead, when defender Sergey Parhivlyuk joined the attack and scored his first ever goal for Dynamo. Vladimir Sychevoy was the Orenburg’s answer, he smashed the volley after the free kick, and in the second half the forward got ahead of the defenders to finish Brian Mansilla’s cross. Sychevoy rose in the top scorers’ race with nine goals, no one in Orenburg history scored the same number in the RPL.
Triple substitution by Slavisa Jokanovic helped Dynamo to get on board again. Vyacheslav Grulev replaced Smolov and scored the equalizer after playing for six minutes on the pitch. Denis Makarov entered instead of Nicolas Ngamaleu and marked on the scoresheet in the final ten minutes, as his cross from corner kick was scored by Roberto Fernandez. That was another winning goal from the Paraguayan, the first one led to win in Samara.
Dynamo end four-game winless streak and tied seventh-placed Akhmat on 20 points, while Orenburg move behind with 18 points.
