Many familiar faces came against Ufa for Akhmat including last season top scorer Gamid Agalarov, Vladislav Kamilov and Giorgi Shelia. Agalarov, who had just two goals in total after the first part of the season, reminded himself to fans with a goal after great pass from Evgeny Kharin to the penalty area. Akhmat made the advantage comfortable before half-time through Lechi Sadulaev perfect shot to the bottom corner. Ufa answered with familiar faces, who played for the team in the last RPL season. Egas Cacintura suffered a foul in the box, and Dilan Ortiz converted the penalty to keep the chances alive, but Akhmat did not allow to score more and captured first win this year.

In the next quarter-finals stage Akhmat will face one of the teams eliminated from the same stage of RPL Path. Opponent will be decided through draw procedure, and fixtures will take place in the middle of March between RPL Matchdays 19 and 20.
