Kurban Berdyev era in Sochi finished after three months of job, and Dmitry Khokhlov led the team to the derby against Krasnodar. Vladimir Ivic and his team scored nine goals against bottom-placed Pari NN and Khimki in past two matches, and they were first to score in the southern rivalry; Batxi led himself from middle of the field to board of penalty area, and his shot was accurate. In the second half Jhon Cordoba and Nikita Krivtsov repeated the combination from previous matchday, when Cordoba assisted Krivtsov with head, and Nikita finished with one touch. Midfielder scored four goals in last three games, while Cordoba got four goals and three assists in last four matches.

Krasnodar with third straight win go sixth on 38 points, while Sochi stay ninth with 31 points.
