Like in the first leg, took place in August, Krylia and Lokomotiv were tied. The sequence was even the same, as Samara opened the score, and the Railwaymen equalized. Dmitry Tsypchenko scored getting the back heel pass from Vladislav Shitov and made second career goal in RPL. Lokomotiv prepared double substitution in the half-time, and former Krylia Maksim Glushenkov provided Wilson Isidor, so the Frenchman scored equalizer, firstly it was called off, but then counted by VAR. Isidor is scorer in his fifth straight game, in all he came from the bench. Lokomotiv are unbeaten for five league matches in a row, while Krylia Sovetov have not any wins in the same period.

Lokomotiv placed ninth with 36 points, while Krylia are twelfth on 26 points.
