On 26 January, two RPL players participated in the matches of CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in Venezuela.

Group A

Bolivia U-23 0-2 Ecuador U-23

Orenburg striker Justin Cuero played 62 minutes in third Ecuador match at the tournament, but still has no goals or assists. La Tri collected seven points after three games to go top of the group. In the remaining match at the first stage Ecuador will play against Brazil on 29 January. For clinching the second stage of the competition team need to finish first or second in the group.

Brazil U-23 2-0 Colombia U-23

CSKA defender Khellven made first starting 11 appearance for Brazil, and he was substituted after 76 minutes, while Lokomotiv defender Lucas Fasson left on the bench again. The Brazilians got two winning clean sheets; they go one point behind Ecuador. Brazil have two matches to play, after facing Ecuador they will meet Venezuela on 1 February.

Whom to follow on 27 January

It’s the first day of knockout stage at Africa Cup of Nations in Cote-d’Ivoire, and Cameroon with Dynamo forward Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu will battle against Nigeria in Round of 16 fixture.

CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament will continue with round three matches in group B, where Uruguay with Dynamo defender Nicolas Marichal will face Chile.
