Cape Verde 1-0 Mauritania

Krasnodar midfielder Kevin Lenini played all 90 minutes for Cape Verde and got a yellow card in the second straight match, while his team moved to quarterfinals through Ryan Mendes penalty goal on 88th minute. The Blue Sharks will face winner of Morocco vs Republic of South Africa match on 3 February.

Brazil U-23 2-1 Ecuador U-23

Two of three RPL players made appearances in this meeting; CSKA defender Khellven and Lokomotiv defender Lucas Fasson played full match for Brazil, and Orenburg forward Justin Cuero left on the bench of Ecuador team. The Brazilians got three wins in three matches, so the reigning Olympic champions guaranteed first place in the group and clinched the next stage of the Pre-Olympic Tournament. Brazil have one more match to play against Venezuela on 1 February. Ecuador finished the first stage with seven points, and they need Venezuela not to win against Brazil to qualify to the next stage.

Whom to follow on 30 January

At Asian Cup team Uzbekistan, who have Rubin defender Rustam Ashurmatov and CSKA midfielder Abbos Fayzullaev, will play against Thailand in Round of 16 fixture.

At Africa Cup of Nations team Burkina Faso and Akhmat striker Mohamed Konate will battle against Mali for one of two remaining spots in the quarterfinals.

At CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament Uruguay U-23 including Dynamo defender Nicolas Marichal will face Peru after defeats from Paraguay and Chile.
