On 5 February, two RPL players represented Brazil in CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament match against Paraguay in the final group.

Lokomotiv defender Lucas Fasson spent all 90 minutes and got a yellow card, while CSKA defender Khellven was replaced after 79 minutes. Brazil, reigning Olympic champions, lost 0-1.

In the next match of the final group the Brazilians will meet Venezuela, tournament hosts, on 8 February, then they will face Argentina. After all teams will play against each other once top two participants will qualify to football tournament of Olympic Games, to be held in Paris this summer.
