Mir Payment System is a Russian national payment system. Over 260 banks are Mir Participants, accepting and acquiring Mir cards in their respective device networks. More than 160 banks issue Mir cards. Over 130 million cards have been issued. Mir cardholders may get various benefits, including up to 20% cash back for purchases from a number of partners, etc. Mir cards are accepted in 10 countries nowadays. Moreover, the option of cross-border transfers from Mir cards to cards of national payment systems in 5 CIS states is now available.
